We're ready to start taking cookbook of the year nominations...my first Nomination is Chantrelle. It has all the requisite things we need. And the food looks wonderful. And it's selling for a bargain price!
Any comments, additions, revisions suggestions, nominations, etc. are welcome. As if you wouldn't anyway!

ReplyDeleteChantrelle has a second cookbook on "staff" (aka family) recipes. Suppose to also appeal to very discriminating palates, but have minimum fuss during the actual serving of the meals.
Received book today. So we are extending the feast to a two day event?
ReplyDeletePriced squabs this morning at $17 apiece. Steve, have you recovered yet from the foie gras (it was 1997)?
Marc, what is the expected head-count w/o Emont/Mensch clan?
